Important early 18th Century Ottoman Empire sward "Yatagan" Turkey
Dated "1125 Islamic Calendar" (1704), The Damascus steel blade with
gold inlay (damascened) on both sides forming long "Khartooshes" with
probably old Turkish or Kurdish inscriptions including the date, the
bone Hilt with silver application surrounding the middle, The Scabbard
is 900 silver with very fine tooling and engraving all around ending
with a fish head and includes 3 stamps one for the purity of the silver
and reads "Sah 90" (Certified 90), the second stamp reads "Allah O
Akbar" (God Is the Greatest), the third stamp is a perfect
miniature of the "Tugra" (The signature seal of Sultan Abdu- Al-Hamid),
